Jasmine Training with Sarah McCartney - Perfumer
Jasmine Training Session with Sarah McCartney - Perfumer
Sarah McCartney set up 4160Tuesdays in 2012 after writing a novel that featured a problem-solving perfumer and her distinctive fragrances.
Before that she was head writer at Lush for 14 years. Now, with a team of 6 people, all 4160Tuesdays fragrances are handmade in London W3,
and worn by more adventurous perfume lovers around the world.
Sarah's fragrances have been shortlisted for The Fragrance Foundation Independent Fragrance Award both years she has entered.
Her fragrances are made in tiny batches of 50 to 200 bottles and continue to push creative boundaries.
This course covered...
How notes make chords.
Using materials from her lab, Sarah showed how she blends them to create different effects, to give an understanding of the difference between materials, notes and accords.
She'll broke out some of the perfume world's secretive synthetics - which magically make perfumes feel lighter, richer or smoother and delegates were even able to blend an accord of their own!
Wednesday 25th April 10.00am-1.00pm
